How long does it take to recover from blepharoplasty?

Most patients are able to resume normal activities within seven to ten days after an eye lift. During this time, swelling and bruising can be controlled with the use of cold compresses and keeping your head elevated. Strenuous exercise can be continued after three weeks, around the time full healing can be expected.

Your recovery time will depend on your body’s natural ability to heal, and on your carefully following all post-surgery advice.
